  National Police Remembrance Day 

The CRA distributes chequered ribbons each year to commemorate National Police Remembrance Day (29th September).

The CRA will be distributing ribbons in the five major shopping centres in Canberra on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September 2008.

National Police Remembrance Day will be commemorated on the evening of Monday 29th September 2008, at the site of the National Police Memorial, King’s Park, Russell.
